Most important tips when creating your UGC Portfolio

Hey there, my fellow content creators!

As you might already know, having a diverse portfolio of user-generated content (UGC) videos is key to standing out and landing those dream clients. That's why I want to share with you some types of UGC videos you should consider adding to your portfolio.

  1. Aesthetic videos with voiceover or viral sound: These types of videos put the focus on the product and its features. By using a voiceover or viral sound, you can make the product the star of the show and show off its benefits without needing to show your face.

  2. Simple background video with written text on top of it: This type of video is perfect for showcasing a product in a minimalistic way. By using a simple background and overlaying written text, you can create a clean and professional look that highlights the product's features.

  3. Show your unboxing experience with a brand: This type of video is perfect for showcasing a product in a more personal way. By filming yourself unboxing a product, you can give viewers an idea of what it's like to receive the product and create a sense of excitement.

  4. How-to videos explaining how to use the product: These types of videos are great for demonstrating the product's features and benefits in a practical way. By showing viewers how to use the product, you can help them envision themselves using it and make it more relatable.

  5. Problem/Solution videos where you present the problem right away and explain how the product is the solution afterwards: This is a great way to show the value of the product by demonstrating how it solves a specific problem. It's important to be authentic and relatable when presenting the problem, and how the product is the solution afterwards.

  6. Talking to a friend kind of testimonial video: This type of video is perfect for showcasing a product in a more personal way. By filming yourself talking to a friend about the product and how much you like it, you can create a sense of trust and authenticity that will be relatable to viewers.

By including these types of videos in your portfolio, you can show your versatility as a content creator and appeal to a wider range of potential clients. And remember, always be authentic and relatable in all of your videos. Good luck and let me know how pitching to brands goes after that!
