How to write the perfect email subject line when pitching to brands

Hey there, fellow UGC creators!

When it comes to pitching to brands, the email subject line is your first impression. It's what will determine if the brand representative will open your email or let it sink in the depths of their inbox. So, how can you make sure your subject line stands out and gets noticed?

  1. Use the name of the brand. Personalization is key when it comes to email subject lines. Including the name of the brand in your subject line will show that you've done your research and are genuinely interested in working with them.

  2. Make it a question. Asking a question in your subject line can pique the brand's interest and prompt them to open your email to find the answer.

  3. Keep it short and sweet. A subject line with nine words or less is more likely to be fully visible in a mobile mailbox, where many people check their emails.

  4. Be direct and avoid clichés. Skip the vague and generic subject lines like "Level up your social media" and instead, get straight to the point with a clear and concise subject line that shows what you can offer the brand.
